The H+ | SOUL SCIENCE COMMUNITY CLASS! A space to explore and learn hip-hop dance movement in a nonjudgmental environment. ALL levels can come to this adult open-class!!
For over 20 years, H+ | The Hip-Hop Dance Conservatory in New York founded by Hip-Hop dance educator, choreographer and philanthropist Safi A. Thomas has been providing this community class which is open to dancers of ALL levels. It's a structured, disciplined, caring, nonjudgmental environment that on any given Friday takes you through the foundational cornerstones of the art: Popping, Locking, Boogaloo, Breaking, Rocking and Party dances! Each Friday you'll work on both your hip-hop freestyle and choreography!

DO I NEED TO HAVE ANY EXPERIENCE?
The SOUL SCIENCE® Community Class is about development of hip-hop dance skill without judgment. If you're a novice looking to gain new skills. If you're a professional looking to brush up on your skills. If you're someone who's always wanted to dance! This is the class for you! Feed your soul with dance!!
WHAT DO WE DO FOR 3 HOURS?
The class includes a meditative exercise, flexibility training, jam session, cardio dance warm-up, choreography, and improvisation cypher.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Comfortable clothing you don't mind getting sweaty! T-shirts, tank tops, sweatpants, yoga pants and sneakers are usually best.
HOW DO I PREPARE FOR CLASS?
Fuel your body with proper nutrition and hydration throughout the day. Trust us, you'll need the energy! Also, plan to arrive at 6:45pm for registration and stay for the entire 3-hours. This way you get the most out your experience!
